Head of Private Client

Bennett Oakley Solicitors are looking to recruit a new Head of Private Client based within the Burgess Hill Office.  The position will be a fee earning role that will provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department whilst ensuring the successful development of the firm in line with the current Business Plan.

The caseload will be made up of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Tax work, Estate Administration. The successful candidate should have suitable experience within these areas.

The Head of Private Client will report to the management team and manage their own team of Two Lawyers and One Paralegal.

 

 

Probate Lawyer

Bennett Oakley Solicitors are looking to recruit a Probate specialist Private Client lawyer. The candidate must have at least 2+ Years PQE.

The position will handle a high level and interesting estate administration caseload working within the Private Client Department.  

You will need to show a sound knowledge of Probate matters to include Wills and Estate Administration.

 

 

Commercial Secretary/Paralegal  

Bennett Oakley Solicitors are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Property Secretary/Paralegal on a permanent contract based in Burgess Hill.

The successful candidate will support three commercial property lawyers and one commercial litigation lawyer. This support will include various administrative day-to-day legal transactional duties.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ Years Commercial Property experience  

 

 

RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY FEE EARNER
Bennett Oakley Solicitors are looking to hire an experienced Residential Conveyancing fee earner on a permanent contract based in our busy Hassocks office.
The Role - The successful candidate(s) work will include (but will not be limited to):
- Manage their own caseload of conveyancing matters.
- Dealing with day-to-day legal transactional duties.
- Delegation of work to support staff.
 
The Requirements - The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- 2 + years PQE experience
- Fee Earning Experience within a Residential Conveyancing setting
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR

Bennett Oakley Commercial Solicitors is now seeking to recruit Solicitors/Associates (NQ-5 PQE) to join the Commercial Property team based in our Burgess Hill, Brighton and London offices.

Our Commercial Property team deal with all aspects of commercial real estate legal issues; including:

  • acquisitions and disposals;
  • commercial leasing;
  • real estate elements of corporate/asset sales.
  • asset management;
  • development;
  • agricultural and woodland transactions;
  • landlord and tenant matters (including some residential lease extension work); and
  • complex property law matters.

You will have the opportunity to work for some of our largest and most important clients. The role offers a hands on and collaborative approach with clients and will generate significant experience at an early stage of your career. Salary will be subject to experience.
