Position Overview: We are looking for a part time talented Residential Conveyancing lawyer with extensive experience in Residential Property to manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, demonstrating expertise in Sale/Purchases, Shared Ownership, New Builds and Re-mortgages. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to the success of our employee-owned firm while enjoying the benefits of shared ownership.
The Role:
- Part-time to include a 3 day working week, however, we are open to discuss alternative arrangements where appropriate.
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
- Work alongside a dedicated member of support and be able to delegate in an efficient manner.
- Provide expert advice to clients on property related issues, whilst dealing with the day-to-day legal transactional duties.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation affecting residential conveyancing.
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, mortgage brokers and other parties involved in transactions.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer documents, ensuring compliance is maintained.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
