Position Overview: We are looking for a part time talented Residential Conveyancing lawyer with extensive experience in Residential Property to manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, demonstrating expertise in Sale/Purchases, Shared Ownership, New Builds and Re-mortgages. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to the success of our employee-owned firm while enjoying the benefits of shared ownership.

The Role:

  1. Part-time to include a 3 day working week, however, we are open to discuss alternative arrangements where appropriate.
  2. Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
  3. Work alongside a dedicated member of support and be able to delegate in an efficient manner.
  4. Provide expert advice to clients on property related issues, whilst dealing with the day-to-day legal transactional duties.
  5. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation affecting residential conveyancing.
  6. Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, mortgage brokers and other parties involved in transactions.
  7. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer documents, ensuring compliance is maintained.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.

Qualifications:

  1. Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
  2. Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently under pressure.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
