We are delighted to announce that Sarah Rowland, CEO of Bennett Oakley Solicitors, has been shortlisted for CEO of the Year at the Sussex Business Awards 2026.
The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses and individuals from across the county, recognising the people whose leadership, innovation and commitment contribute to Sussex’s vibrant business community.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 3 December 2026 at The Grand Brighton, when finalists and supporters will come together to celebrate business success across the region.
Recognising leadership
The CEO of the Year award celebrates senior leaders who inspire confidence, drive positive change and provide a clear direction for their organisation.
For everyone at Bennett Oakley, Sarah’s place on the shortlist is a wonderful moment of recognition and an opportunity to celebrate the leadership and dedication she brings to the firm.
Leading a law firm is about more than its day-to-day operations. It means supporting people, building a positive culture and keeping clients at the heart of the decisions that shape the future of the business.
Sarah’s leadership reflects the values that matter to us at Bennett Oakley: providing a personal service, building lasting relationships and supporting our team to deliver the best possible experience for our clients.
A proud moment for Bennett Oakley
Being shortlisted alongside other business leaders from across Sussex is an achievement, and we are incredibly proud to see Sarah recognised.
The announcement also provides an opportunity to reflect on the contribution of the whole Bennett Oakley team. Every member of our firm plays a part in supporting our clients and making Bennett Oakley the business it is today.
We would like to congratulate Sarah on her well-deserved shortlisting, as well as all the other finalists across this year’s awards.
We look forward to celebrating with the Sussex business community at The Grand Hotel, Brighton in December and wish everyone shortlisted the very best of luck!
