Employee Ownership - What's next?

Becoming one of the growing number of employee owned businesses in the UK is an exciting moment for Bennett Oakley. It is a major milestone that marks the start of a new chapter for us.

We are taking time to celebrate and look at how far we have come, but we are also keeping our eyes firmly focussed on the future.

So what does the future hold? Our new leadership team has been in place for the last year, and although Simon Elliott is retiring, Sarah Rowland becomes our CEO, I become MD and COLP and Samuel Cash becomes the firm’s Operations Director and COFA. We have a great sense of purpose and vision for the future and employee ownership is at the heart of that.

Our first aim is growth, and we plan to expand and grow all of our service lines, with an emphasis on family, commercial and private client.

Technology is also going to be vital, and we plan to invest in the best tech to benefit our people and our clients. By streamlining our current service offerings and using the right technology, we will continue to provide an exceptional service and experience for our clients.

Our culture and how our people feel working here is also crucial and through employee ownership our staff now have an even greater stake and say in the business. We will continue to create a culture that aligns with the ethos of employee ownership, where everyone who works here feels engaged, happy in their work and valued.
