Bennett Oakley Solicitors are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Commercial Property to head the team based in our Burgess Hill office.

Our Commercial Property team deal with all aspects of commercial real estate legal issues; including:

  • acquisitions and disposals;
  • commercial leasing;
  • asset management;
  • development; and
  • real estate elements of corporate/asset sales.

We act for landowners, landlords, tenants/occupiers, developers, local government, lenders and real estate professionals across the industry.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant commercial property experience and experience in managing a small team. The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to confidently supervise others and head up the department.

Relevant Commercial Property Experience will include:

  • asset management work (including licences for alterations, licences to assign, deeds of surrender and agreements for lease);
  • negotiating leases (acting for both landlords and tenants);
  • ability to manage files from start to completion;
  • the successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrating initiative, as well as part of a team.

Salary will be subject to experience.
